I just love beach photoshoots. And I’ve been holding onto those summer vibes with this sweet family/maternity session captured at a lovely lake spot near my hometown. I loved that the mom was willing to get into the water at the end of the session and her daughter joined her as well (and hubby too!). This location has a great variety of backdrops. The treed-canopy spot, which you will see further down in this post (Hello greens! Hello magical bokeh!) is a favourite spot of mine to photograph at. I’ve taken many photos on that trail of my own kiddos when we used to live just down the road. I can’t wait to meet this family’s new addition! Here are some favourites from their session.
