Every summer I visit the stunning Cowichan Valley Lavender Farm in Duncan (located off Wicks Road) with a selection of clients. I absolutely love shooting portraits at the farm, as I can direct my kiddos between the rows and get some super whimsical solo shots. If the sun is out at the farm, there is a nice spot with a golden glow in the evening, otherwise during overcast days, that deep purple will really show its vibrant colours (it's a win-win).
