Portrait Sessions, Cowichan Valley Lavender Farm

Taking photos at the Cowichan Valley Lavender Labyrinth is definitely my favourite time of year. It’s hard to pick favourite locations sometimes, but I can easily say this spot is the ONE! The images are always so dreamy and the pops of purple are so cool. The owners are lovely too! For this year’s mini series event, I decided to only offer portraits and smaller sessions, including mom and me photos, which I did a lot of, maternity, business and graduation portraits. There weren’t any bites this year on grad photos, however I did capture one lovely lady’s business portraits, a maternity session, and several mom and me photos, as well as some children’s portraits. In previous years, I noticed my favourite photos from these sessions were the portraits. It’s much easier to tuck one person between the rows of lavender, versus squeezing in a whole family. It worked out well and next year I will be doing the same format ~ portraits only. Not all the photos I captured are featured in this post, but here are some favourites I was allowed to share:
