Here’s the scoop: I specialize in family and children’s photography, capturing authentic moments and delivering photos with a fine art style ~ rich colours and earthy tones yet with a soft, ethereal feel.
There's something about subtle moments that I love, including sweet (or sometimes sloppy) kisses, tight hugs, tickling a sibling or stopping to pick a wildflower.
I’ve been a family photographer for three years but have always loved photography. I captured photos as a journalist and have documented my children’s adventures for years.
If you're nervous about having your family photos taken, I have two very busy children myself, thus the patience and eye to capture your family. I strive to make each session feel like a fun outing.
I'm an outdoorsy kind of gal, so I prefer being patient and shooting outdoors, preferably before or during sunrise/sunset. I do not have my own studio space at this time. I also offer seasonal mini sessions, which is my way of making family photography more affordable.
Sessions typically start at $200. Please get in touch for specific package pricing. I ask that clients pay a deposit of $50 of their session fee at the time of booking to secure their spot. A small travel fee may apply to locations outside of the Duncan area.
Digital images are included in every session price and are available to download from an online gallery after they've been edited. All sessions come with a proofing gallery ~ that means you get to make your selections. Editing typically takes four weeks after selections have been made. I do, however, deliver a small selection of edited photos soon after photos are chosen.
I’ve carefully prepared a session prep guide that I share with clients who’ve booked and paid deposits, which includes tips on what to bring and what to wear. I will share a link with clients to that guide as well as a private Facebook group for clients only.
